1950s & 1960s
The famous house on Wayne Avenue becomes not only Esther's home, but the main production facility and the first store. Before long, Esther opens stores on Reading Rd., Kenwood, and Airway. The company is growing fast and Daytonians want more!
1970s
After 50 delicious years, Esther sells the business to Jim Day and Ralph Schmidt. The new owners vow to keeping things true to Esther's vision by continuing to use the same quality ingredients, using the same handmade production practices, and committing to honor the Dayton community that made everything possible.
